The Plenary session of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities will take place from the 27th – 29th May 2008 in Strasbourg. The activities of the Adriatic Euroregion will be presented during the Plenary the 29th May at 14,30. During the three days a stand of the Adriatic Euroregion will be exposed, in order to increase the visibility of the association. The 29th May a tasting of typical Adriatic products is foreseen for 12,30, the event will be followed by the Secretary General of the CoE – Mr. Terry Davis and by the newly elected President of the CLRAE.

The working meeting of the Adriatic Euroregion's Commissions will take place in Dubrovnik (Hotel Rixos Libertas - Liechtensteineov put 3) the 12th and 13th June 2008. The reservation of the accommodation must be realized directly. You can download the programme and the registration form from the secion events.

The 22nd January 2008 president Jakovèiĉ, vice-president Iorio and the members of the Executive Board of the Adriatic Euroregion have met in Brussels with Commissioner Danuta Hübner. During the meeting the realized activities and future initiatives were presented, as well as the project ideas initiated by the Adriatic Euroregions thematic Commissions. Mrs. Hübner has stressed the importance of the association as a means of encouraging the integration of Southeastern Countries in the European Union. The exchange of views with the Commissioner and her willingness to increase the Adriatic Euroregion’s visibility in the European scenario represent a great contribution to the growth and strengthening of the association. Dear Friends of the Adriatic,
We take the opportunity to inform you that the opening of the Foundation Conference on the Adriatic Euroregion took place on 30 June 2006 at the House of Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia in Pula.
This is an important occasion for the Adriatic, which is not only a great step towards the achievement of the common aim, in other words towards the institutional collaboration on the Adriatic, but also to the development of this precious area of Europe.
