In light of the numerous global challenges with which the Adriatic territory has to confront and with the aim to reach the objectives of economic, social and territorial cohesion the members of the Adriatic Euroregion have launched the Initiative for the creation of an Adriatic Strategy.

V ASSEMBLY MEETING OF THE ADRIATIC EUROREGION





The V Assembly meeting of the Adriatic Euroregion, which was also the election one was held on 22nd October 2009 in Split, Splitsko-Dalmatinska County (HR). The meeting was attended by the representatives of member regions together with the representative of the Croatian Ministry, Mrs. Zeljka Baric. The president of the Splitsko – Dalmatinska County, Mr. Ante Sanader opened the work of the V Assembly with a welcome speech, short after which the president of the Adriatic Euroregion Ivan Jakovčić who is also the president of the Region of Istria welcomed the participants.

We take the opportunity to inform you that the opening of the Foundation Conference on the Adriatic Euroregion took place on 30 June 2006 at the House of Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia in Pula.
This is an important occasion for the Adriatic, which is not only a great step towards the achievement of the common aim, in other words towards the institutional collaboration on the Adriatic, but also to the development of this precious area of Europe.
